There is to be a meeting in St. Germans Memorial Hall tonight at 6.30pm to discuss the planned Incineration Plant at Saddlebow, King’s Lynn. A lot of people have done their homework and this should prove quite interesting. Please come along if you are able and help to get the building of this plant thrown out.

I understand that the land for this plant has already been purchased or at least designated, contracts signed with the company about to implement the plant etc etc. If this is indeed the case, then the council who are supposed to be working for the people and doing all things on our behalf, have broken our trust and let us down. I call on the organisers here to organise every rate payer in the entire area to with hold payment of their rates until this project is thrown out entirely and the senior members of the council who came up/agreed with this plan are ejected from their jobs/office in both the KLWNBC and at the County Council level. It is high time the ordinary people (the silent and law abiding majority) showed their grit and some added civil disobedience thrown in…it will work, they can’t imprison us all!!…and when there is no money to pay out for any service then they will have to give in to the silent majority. I am not a leftist or young person….just a very fed up village resident, who is willing to put his name down first and help organise and recruit further residents to stop this most ridiculous ill-conceived project.
