Busy week for anti-incineration campaigners

It’s all happening in the world of waste campaigning. This past week alone we have seen:
A public inquiry in Nottingham
BERR’s decision to grant approval for a Cheshire incinerator
A very well attended public meeting in Cornwall
The formation of the Elistown Action Group
Discussions with senior Defra officials
• A record number of new members joining UKWIN

Is your local campaign update missing from this list? If so, please send an update to the UKWIN Coordinator

Have any other groups encountered the rubbish we have met during the present political climate. The BNP are claiming responsibility for leading our group from It`s inception. In fact It has deterred members.Who wants to have your photo in newspapers at protests, then see your photo in BNP leaflets or on BNP posters? It`s a typical BNP tactic, claim other people`s work.It has happened more than once to us.There are numerous blogs making claims, you can`t respond to, because the blog is edited. There is also a PPC for Mansfield, making other outrageous, untrue claims concerning his efforts to fight our cause, his name is Michael Wyatt, thats the only thing thats true about him(i think).
