Notes: Scoping opinion issued by Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in May 2025 (24/02253/EIASCO) but no sign of planning application of May 2025. No indication within the scoping request that this site is intended as a replacement for the Lakeside incinerator, but the site is being proposed near to Heathrow airport. According to the applicant's scoping request: "The waste will be primarily commercial and industrial waste (C&I), but the facility will be capable of treating residual municipal waste in the event it is awarded a local authority contract".
