Notes: Nearish the end of its operational life. It is expected that the facility will be refurbished rather than decommissioned because the plant is connected to a district heating scheme [Source]. The Council(s) purchased Tom White Waste's assets in January 2025 which included the incinerator and agreed a 25-year agreement to lease them back to Tom White Waste [Source]. In January 2025 it was reported that: "Coventry and Solihull Waste Disposal Company (CSWDC) has revealed its Coventry-based facility is unable to meet key emission limits under the recently updated Waste Incineration BREF (WI BREF). The issues for the facility, which is ultimately owned by CSWDC’s shareholders Coventry City Council, Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council, were revealed in an environmental permit application" [Source].
