Notes: In March 2024 planning permission was granted by Suffolk County Council for the construction of a "pyrolysis facility" to convert solid recovered fuel (SRF) and biomass into electricity, hydrogen, "syncrude" and other products (SCC/0091/23MS). The project was awarded funding in August 2023 through Phase 2 of the UK Government's Hydrogen BECCS Innovation Programme [Source]. Based on the size of the plant it is likely to be regulated as a Small Waste Incineratoin Plant (SWIP). In June 2024, Great Blakenham Parish Council recorded that: "news has been received that the government has decided to withdraw funding for the planned construction and operation of a pyrolysis facility at the site south east of Masons Landfill, Bramford Road, Great Blakenham SCC/0091/23MS". Capacity is usually the permitted or maximum advertised capacity of the facility.
