Notes: The Secretary of State refused planning consent for the proposal in June 2014 [Source], but this decision was quashed by a legal challenge brought by Veolia. Following a re-determination, the application was refused again in July 2015 and Veolia announced in August 2015 that they were not challenging this decision [Source, Source]. PFI was funding was withdrawn in October 2014 [Source]. Veolia awarded Hertfordshire County Council waste PFI contract in April 2011 [Source].
