Notes: Under construction since 2017. Incinerator supposedly intended to accept waste from "local businesses and local authorities". Turned down by Bristol City Council but approved on appeal in April 2011. Viridor had expected to begin construction in early 2012 [Source], but the plans were put on hold until Somerset Waste Partnership announced in November 2016 that they would provide up to 35% of the feedstock for the plant which was reportedly scheduled to begin operation in 2020 [Source].
