Dear Members

Firstly, apologies for the short notice, but we have checked the weather forecast for next week and it appears that next Monday provides a potentially good day for raising the balloon to mark the height of the CERC chimney stack. We are therefore making arrangements for the fixed tethered balloon to be raised on site on Monday 26 January – Wednesday 28 January inclusive (weather permitting). We have checked Members’ diary commitments, and it seems that due to other commitments it will not be possible to arrange a site visit during the three days we are planning to raise the raise the balloon. For this reason we are not making plans for a specific tour. We would therefore recommend that Members take an opportunity to view the balloon prior to Full Council in the afternoon of Monday 26 January. However, if this is not possible, we advise Members to view the balloon on one of the alternative days that the balloon is raised.

If you have any queries regarding this message please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards
Stacey</description>
